California law requires people driving with Uber to inspect their vehicle every year or every 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
Lyft
$25
Inspections must be completed every 12 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The 50,000-mile requirement includes miles driven when not logged onto Lyft’s Platform. If you log over 50,000 miles before your annual renewal date, you must get a new inspection.
